Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

Up to 20 files per merge, each up to 100 MB. If you need more, merge in batches and then merge the results.

Does merging reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied byte-for-byte into the new document, so text, images and vector graphics are unchanged.

Are password-protected PDFs supported?

Encrypted PDFs cannot be merged. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then merge the unprotected copy.

Do bookmarks and form fields survive?

Page content is preserved exactly, but document-level features such as bookmarks, form fields and attachments are not carried over.
