Why use PDFQuick for this
True uncompressed bitmap
Each page is written as a standard 24-bit BMP with no compression artefacts at all.
Legacy software friendly
Ideal for older Windows applications, scanning workflows and industrial printers.
Exact pixels
What you see in the preview is exactly what is written into the bitmap file.
No upload required
Large bitmaps are created locally, so you never wait on a server round trip.
Frequently asked questions
Why are BMP files so big?
BMP stores every pixel uncompressed — roughly three bytes per pixel. A full A4 page at high resolution can easily exceed 20 MB. Choose Standard resolution for smaller files.
Does BMP support transparency?
The 24-bit BMP written here has no alpha channel, so pages are flattened onto a white background.
Can I get a smaller file?
Yes — use our PDF to PNG converter for lossless compression, or PDF to JPG and WebP for much smaller files.
Which page order do I get?
Files are numbered page-001, page-002 and so on, so the original order is preserved.
