How to use PDF Editor
Open your PDF
Choose a file. Every page is rendered as a preview so you can see exactly what you're editing.
Add or replace text
Type your text, pick a size and colour, then click the page where it should sit. Tick the cover option to hide the wording underneath and replace it.
Organise the pages
Rotate a page, delete it, or move it earlier or later. Deleted pages stay visible until you save, so you can undo.
Save the result
Click Save edited PDF. The new document is built on your device and downloads immediately.
Why use PDFQuick for this
Real page editing
Delete, reorder and rotate pages, and write new text onto them — no account and no watermark.
Replace existing wording
The cover option paints a white box behind your new text, so an old date, name or price disappears cleanly.
See it before you save
Your additions appear on the page preview in place, so nothing is a surprise in the downloaded file.
Private by design
The whole editor runs in your browser with pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your document is never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the existing text directly?
Not letter by letter — a PDF stores positioned glyphs, not editable paragraphs. Instead, cover the old wording with the white-box option and type the replacement on top. The result looks and prints correctly.
Which fonts are used for new text?
New text is drawn in Helvetica, a standard PDF font that every reader can display without embedding.
Do deleted pages really disappear?
Yes. Deleted pages are excluded when the new PDF is built, so their content is not hidden in the file.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Page previews and controls are touch friendly, though placing text precisely is easier on a larger screen.
Are scanned PDFs supported?
You can rotate, delete, reorder and write on scanned pages. To turn the scan itself into editable text, use our PDF OCR to Word tool.
